Precision Agriculture courses provide students with the concepts, technologies, and applications of precision farming. Students will be exposed to the use of enabling technology, equipment, and approaches to assess field conditions and manage agricultural input rates. The course covers topics such as GPS, various sampling procedures using sensors, GIS, IoT, remote sensing, and Variable Rate Technology (VRT). This course enables students to apply this knowledge in real-world agricultural settings and contribute to the sustainable and efficient management of agricultural systems, in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
